We primarily work with high-grade, powder-coated aluminum systems from reputable manufacturers. Aluminum offers strength, resistance to rust and corrosion, and low maintenance over time.
Our bioclimatic pergolas are designed as high-performance 3-season systems. With optional glass walls, heating, and screens, they can be used comfortably from early spring to late fall, and even on mild winter days. However, because louvered roofs are not insulated or engineered to retain heat in extreme cold, they are not considered full 4-season enclosures in Quebec’s climate.
Yes. Most of the systems we work with are modular but highly customizable. We adjust size, layout, height, finishes, and options (screens, lighting, heaters, etc.) to suit your space and design intent.
Manual pergolas are operated by a crank or handle to adjust louvers. Motorized systems allow you to control louvers, and in some cases screens and lighting, with a remote or app, convenient for larger or frequently used spaces.
We select systems and configurations that meet the structural and climate requirements of each project. That includes wind loads, snow considerations, and proper drainage. Where needed, we work with engineers to validate the design.
On site, most pergola installations are completed in a day once the structure, foundations, and other preparatory work are ready. Timelines vary depending on size, complexity, and integration with other trades.
